Five-Dimension Evaluation Framework

We evaluate providers, products, and proposed solutions through a five-dimension framework covering the factors that determine whether an AI investment performs in production. Because we have built production AI systems ourselves since 2016, we assess claims the way engineers do: hands-on, against evidence.

We define the evaluation criteria and weightings around the operational requirements of each decision. The framework commonly covers technical capability, implementation, security, provider resilience, and commercial value.

How do you weight the evaluation criteria?

There are no universal percentages. We define the evaluation criteria and weightings around the operational requirements of each decision — a safety-critical edge deployment weights the dimensions differently than a back-office automation. The framework commonly covers technical capability, implementation, security, provider resilience, and commercial value.

Is this a document review, or do you actually test the technology?

Both, in that order. Document review and architecture interviews establish what is claimed; structured demonstrations, benchmarking with representative data, and API, code, and deployment reviews establish what can be demonstrated. The deliverables separate validated from unvalidated claims explicitly.

Can you evaluate our internal team's proposed solution, not just external vendors?

Yes. We apply the same evidence standard to internal proposals, external providers, and implementation partners — and we support investment and acquisition due diligence where the technology is the asset being priced.

When in the procurement process should we engage you?

Before commitments become contractual. The engagement is most valuable at shortlist stage, but the deliverables — test and acceptance criteria and a negotiation question set — are built to strengthen your position through contracting and acceptance as well.
