nAIxt Technologies Participates in High-Level Economic Delegation to the Gulf Region
nAIxt Technologies GmbH, a corporate member of the DAFG – Deutsch-Arabische Freundschaftsgesellschaft e.V., participated in a high-level economic delegation to the Gulf region. The delegation included representatives from business associations and companies and was jointly organized by the vbw – Vereinigung der Bayerischen Wirtschaft e.V., UBW – Unternehmer Baden-Württemberg, and the DAFG.
nAIxt Technologies was represented by its Managing Director, Jonas Szalanczi, who took part in discussions across Oman, the United Arab Emirates, and Saudi Arabia. The delegation aimed to strengthen economic cooperation between Germany and the Arab region, with a strong focus on future-oriented industries, advanced technologies, and sustainable development.
Oman: Technology, AI, and Sustainable Resources
The delegation began in Muscat, Sultanate of Oman, with high-level meetings involving political and economic stakeholders. Discussions highlighted Oman’s strategic role as a logistics hub, investment destination, and partner in energy, raw materials, and digital transformation. Particular emphasis was placed on cooperation in information technology, artificial intelligence, and modern digital infrastructure—areas closely aligned with nAIxt Technologies’ strategic focus.
United Arab Emirates: Industrial Development in Al Ain
The second stop led the delegation to Al Ain, where plans for a new industrial and special economic zone were presented by the Abu Dhabi Investment Office (ADIO) and KEZAD – Khalifa Economic Zones Abu Dhabi. The delegation gained insight into the region’s industrial strategy, infrastructure development, and logistics capabilities, underlining Al Ain’s ambition to become a future industrial hub within the United Arab Emirates.
Saudi Arabia: Innovation and Industry at Oxagon, NEOM
A key highlight of the journey was the visit to Oxagon, the industrial and innovation center of the NEOM project in Saudi Arabia. As a partially floating industrial city on the Red Sea, Oxagon represents a new model for advanced manufacturing, clean energy, and integrated logistics.
The delegation was given direct on-site impressions of the significant progress already achieved. Oxagon was widely regarded as a visionary project that aims to redefine how industry, technology, sustainability, and quality of life can coexist within a single ecosystem.
